About Adolf Dehn (American, 1895–1968)
Dehn's delightful 1941 watercolor "Spring in Central Park" located in The Met Collection, was adapted for this linen tea towel.  It  is one of several bucolic views of the New York skyline and the park that he painted at different seasons.

Dehn immortalized so many dimensions of New York City life, from Central Park through the seasons to Harlem nightclubs and burlesque theaters.
