Nougatine.  In the true matelassé style achieved on a jacquard loom, this matelassé tablecloth has a quilted or padded appearance.  The Nougatine pattern is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched quilts made in Marseilles, France.

Very charming, classically french pattern!
